Reflection: the statement means when you do something and it doesn’t feel right that because isn’t right. When it doesn’t feel right, just stop what you’re doing and do the right thing. Do what your heart tells you to do. Basically just follow your heart. JVVVVV

Reflection: well the video talked about how they have to study human cells. And they can tell when somebody has inflammatory and many kinds of diseases. They have to use microscopes to see the cells.I don’t think this would be for me because this has to do a lot with science and I’m not good at science.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Cytology is the study of human body cells. Cytotechnologist is specially trained clinical technologists who study human body cells. They examine cells to identify changes that may indicate like cancer.
 Their duties include preparing microscopes slides and cell samples, examining cell samples using microscopes, identifying abnormalities in shape, size, or color, using other automated lab equipment to perform tests, and analyzing report test result to physicians.
    Cytotechnologist usually works in hospitals, clinics, or private laboratories. They also work in universities or for other researchers.
Average Salary: $30,000-$50,000
Education Requirements: Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English.
Almost all cytotechnologist earn bachelor’s degrees in medical or clinical technology programs that include a year-long internship in the field.

Rehabilitation or mental health counselors work with the mental, emotionally, and physical disabled. It is their job to help patients develop more faith in themselves. They work with patients to help them become self-sufficient and productive. Counselors often work in private practice, for school, industry, or in hospital or residential health care settings. Counselors often:
·     Works with patients who abuse alcohol are addicted to drugs.
·     Interview and observe patients to determine problem areas.
·     Conduct personality aptitude, achievement, and psychological tests.
·     Help patients find and keep jobs.
Average salary: $25,000-$45,000
Educational requirements:
Students interested in becoming counselors should take a challenging high school curriculum.
A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or sociology is the minimum requirement for level counseling jobs, but master’s degree is required for most. To become licensed by a state, counselors must pass written and oral examination’s and works for about two years in a supervised clinical setting.

Nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist is advanced practice registered nurse who have received special courses and training. They usually work closely with doctors and can perform many high-level primary care tasks. They often specialize, or obstetrics. Some established private practices; however, most work in doctors’ offices, hospitals, or neighborhood health centers. Duties often include:

·     Taking detailed medical histories and preforming complete physical exams.

·     Providing diagnoses and recommending human treatment plans.

·     Treating common medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries.

·     Prescribing limited medications.

·     Counseling patients and families.

Average Salary: $39,000-$70,000

Reflection:  what I think the statement means is that we only have one life. And in that one life we have to do all the good things as possible. For example the things you could do is don’t be rude, be nice to people. Well just be the best persons you can be. So yeah that’s what I think it means.

Most clinical laboratory specialists work in hospitals, but they are employed by private practices, medical groups, research laboratories, pharmicial companies, and universities.
Average Salary: $20,000-$28,000 (clinical laboratory technicians)
$25,000-$40,000 (clinical technologist)
Education requirements:
Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English.
An associate’s degree in the field or completion of a specialized in-house training program is require to become a clinical laboratory technician.
A bachelor’s degree in the field is normal required to become a clinical technologist; however some employers accept an associate’s degree and extensive clinical experience as a substitute. Many technologist pursue addition graduate education or specialized training to advance their careers in clinical chemistry’s, blood banking, and microbiology.

Reflection: the statement means that you have to do the right thing no matter what. And in order to do the right you have to practice. And by practice I mean start with small things. For example if somebody leaves there pen in class. Get the pen and get it back to them. That’s what I mean start with small things. Clinical laboratory specialist include both clinical laboratory technicians and clinical technologists. These professions are also referred as medical laboratory technicians or medical technologist. Both technicians and technologist preform laboratory work to identify, diagnose, and treat diseases.
Clinical laboratory technicians use microscopes, laboratory equipment, chemicals and computers to preform laboratory procedures. They also collect blood specimens and reports for clinical technologist or physicians.
